Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What are your office hours?
A. With the exception of major holidays, we are open Monday through Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Q. How do I determine how much space I need?
A. Use our storage size estimator to help you begin the process.

Q. When can I access my unit?
A. You may access your unit daily from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm, including holidays. However, if a special circumstance should arise, contact our office one day in advance for written authorization.

Q. I lost the key to my unit. How do I get a new one?
A. You may pick up an additional key at our office during normal business hours. You will be charged an additional fee for extra keys. Keys can be loaned out, but must be returned by no later than 5:00 pm of that day. We will only loan keys to the person who signed the lease and/or those listed as having permission to access the unit.

Q. How do I add additional people to access my unit?
A. Access will only be granted to individuals named on the lease. To give additional access rights, you must notify our office with written authorization stating the name of the person(s) and the dates (if applicable) he or she is allowed access.

Q. When is rent due? Is there any kind of late penalty?
A. Rent is due on the first (1st) day of each month.  Any payments received after 5 pm on the fifth (5th) day of the month will be concidered late and will be subject to a late fee of twenty dollars ($20) or twenty percent (20%), whichever is greater, for each month that Rent is past due.  Additionally, the Occupant agrees to pay any fees incurred by Owner in its attempts to collect on past due amount or for any foreclousre fees, or additional expenses incurred for other services requested by Occupant.

Q. What are your payment options?
A. We accept cash, checks, VISA, Mastercard, Discover, and online payments. Payments may be paid at our office during normal business hours, placed in the after hours drop box, or mailed. Autopay options are also available for credit or debit cards, and savings or checking accounts.

Q. Do I need to bring my own padlock?
A. For security reasons a padlock is required on all 6x10, 8x10 and 8x15 storage units. We recommend padlocks be used on the large storage units as added security to the key lock on the door. We have Disc padlocks for sale in our office.

Q. Can I bring my own shelves?
A. Yes, you can utilize free-standing shelving to help keep your storage space neat and organized. Shelving attached to the unit walls is not permitted.

Q. What do I do when I no longer need my storage unit?
A. After you have completely removed all items from your storage space, you must return all keys and fill out a Vacate form in our office. Prior notice is not necessary. Provided your account is current and you have complied with all of the terms and conditions of the lease agreement, your deposit, as well as any pro-rated rent, will be returned to you within 14 days of vacating.
